Full bilingual information website for medical training institute

Project goal

We had the pleasure to create a new website for their new online education business of client City Medical Group. City Medical is a renowned medical group with over 20 years of history serving the Vancouver area. Our goal was to help them design a new branding identity, and create a bilingual full website that showcase all necessary information of the new business.

Project flow

We started by conducting a brief market research around the new business, followed by designing a brand guideline, including refined logo, color palettes, typography, imagery and mock up.

Next, we provided examples of how a typical education institute website would look like, and discussed with the client what sections they would want. After finalizing all sections, we handled domain re-direction (DNS transfer) and developed the website using Wordpress. Instead of Google Translate, we used a specific plugin to allow us to link the English pages we translated by ourselves, to the corresponding Chinese pages.

This whole process only lasts for 4 weeks. We are proud to have delivered with high efficiency, corresponding to client's feedback promptly.

The Branding - Logo, Typeface, Colors and more

Brand Guideline is an essential foundation to help the client build a solid brand identity. We started with an existing logo. Client had a logo made elsewhere and don't want it to be wasted. We refined the logo to align with the new vision, improved the typeface of the logo to give a uplifting, professional and educational look and feel.

Originally they only had the logo with unmatching typefaces and poor alignment of words and icon. We made reference to the logos of world renowned universities, and re-created a primary version, secondary version, and a circle mark so that they can be applied on all kinds of marketing materials.
